I already signed up, and am willing to do whatever is okay to be legal for the event. No response f...

Just a reminder to everyone who hasn't fished PZ. Please read the regulations on the signs before you go fishing.

Stripers and hybrids

Talquin, and the river above and below. Bucktail jigs till it warms up. There lots of fun in the yak. I believe talquin only has stripers.

Re: Piney Z - 3-23-2014

Piney Z is a perfect example of what catch and release can do in a very short time. With all the poaching going on, I wonder when/if they will ever need to allow bass to be kept. Right now its a real joy, even if its a little crowded.

First fishing kayak

Wow! This is tough! You fish such diverse places! I'd buy 2. 1 for flat water and rivers. 1 for coastal. Its just like buying a boat.
Just try before you buy and you'll be fine. I love the native ultimate and slayer along with the hobies and wilderness systems.

Re: Anybody familiar with Snipe Island?

Pinhook is not what most would consider navigable until it reaches the bridge on the main east/west Refuge road (105) That bridge was our goal that day. I'm sure I broke the rules as I drove thru one of the WMA until I reached a chain across the road. Paddling from the bridge down to the mouth woul...

Re: Anybody familiar with Snipe Island?

It seems the govt wants to keep kayakers out from the econfina to the lighthouse.....You should really follow up with a LOL or something, someone might take you serious... :smt004  I should have saved that for another thread. It came out of frustration. The day a friend and I went looking for ...

Re: Anybody familiar with Snipe Island?

I once tried to find a way to pinhook by car. It seems the govt wants to keep kayakers out from the econfina to the lighthouse. Would love to find a way to launch in that area. 1/2 mile with my kayak on a trolley would work. Dragging thru a swamp would not. Your the man!!!

Re: Any Tallahassee Bass Anglers here?

Did you consider getting a good yak, for what you would spend in gas and repairs in a year, you could own one. You will find kayakers on jackson nearly every day of the week. Its nice not having to depend on others. Just tell you wife you need the exercise. I tell mine I'm going to work out 3 times ...
