Re: TAKE A KID FISHING DAY
I feel that I got as much enjoyment out of the trip as the kid. I plan on doing this event again next year. Thanks for Don and all the work he's done.

I do not fish the St. Marks area, but I normally stay at St Marks and fish out of Econfina. I can take my boat, if another capt doesn't mind me following to a trout area. That is if you need another boat.

Scalawag, just because you put your boat in w/ the lift, doesn't mean the lift will be open to take your boat out. I've put in twice and when I got ready to take the boat out, the lift was closed due to no operator. I had to use the public ramp.... Your time will come....

I like Invisibraid which is white. Since no wax, it's a little rounder and it casts fine for me. It' s a little hard to find, but Bass Pro usually has some.

I'm surprised more people haven't commented on this post..... you would think w/ the EXTREME price increases on hotels and lot rent, etc, the customer service would improve greatly..... I've heard the locals have boycotted the place..

Re: Lake Blackshear?
The depth going into Spring Creek varies. Turn left into middle and North and work your way to the South side of the creek and just idle on to Booger Bottom. Please report on how the cheeseburger and hospitality is.

Re: Lake Blackshear?
If you go N under the tressel and under hwy 280 bridge, stay between the bouy markers and you can go up to where the river gets narrow and see a bluff or two. Just N of the bridge, go past the island on the left and then take a left into Spring Creek. At the end of Spring Creek is Booger Bottom. Get...

Re: Quick Keaton Beach/Big Grassy trip - Sea Hag
You're lucky that the lift was working. I put my boat in last weekend and they day I was leaving, it was not working. So I paid for the lift, but didn't get use of it. I heard it happened on another day too. After the new guys took over and went up on the rent and price of hotel rooms etc, from what...
