Re: Permit 09-12-10
How hard did that big boy pull? This fish ran like nothing I have ever seen on the flats. Redbelly was almost spooled at one point before we chased him down in the boat. I didn't think we would ever land it. This is Redbelly's catch so I will let him give the rest of the details on this awesome fis...

Try 3 to 4 feet near big red rock. It worked well for me this weekend.

Re: Steinhatchee This Coming Weekend
We have had the best luck by fishing early and late in the day for trout in 8-10 feet of water. Try fishing without the cork and go with a 1/16 - 1/8 oz jig head in red or pink and gulp shrimp in white or new penny. You should also pick up a few black bass in the deeper water and maybe some spanish....

Re: Looking for a new duck gun.
I have a Benelli M1 S90 with factory box, and all choke tubes, wrench, etc. The gun is used but in very good condition with no rust, just a little light wear on the sharp edges. It is the H&K imported Benelli which is more desirable by most hunters. Great gun for ducks, turkey, doves or even dee...

Re: How to catch bigger Black Bass
Thanks for all of the info from everyone. I have a 18.5' bay boat with a 90hp and I suppose that 20 to 25 feet is achievable with this boat even though I have never ventured out that far. I hear that the Florida snapper (white snapper) may also be in the same area and they are supposed to be a good ...

How to catch bigger Black Bass
Has anyone got any tips on how to catch the larger black bass this time of the year? I have been catching several of them while fishing for trout but most of them have been short. I would love to catch a limit of keeper black bass to fry up. Someone told me to try fishing the edge of sandy areas in ...

Re: Hazardous Rocks at Econfina
What about the rock that is about 1.5 to 2 miles out from the mouth of river that everyone talks about hitting?

Hazardous Rocks at Econfina
Does anyone have or know where I can get the GPS coordinates for the underwater rocks and other obstructions that need to be avoided when fishing the flats around Econfina and Rock Island? I am somewhat of a new comer to the area and continue to hear horror stories about fishermen who have be towed ...
