Re: June 15-Lighthouse
Great report, wish I was there.
Your "partner"? !!!!! I think we need to talk.
Your "partner" buys the shrimp, and the gas, and keeps the boat operational.
I'm sure you must have meant your fishing buddy?

Thanks everyone, lots of help. Currently having a more pressing issue addressed at Tallahassee Welding. The front seat pedestal broke loose on trip # 200 (and that's not counting trips before we got her). Guess all Luc's big fish pressure finally got to it. Hopefully get her back for the weekend, th...

Re: Trailer lights
Thanks guys. That video is great, it's pretty much exactly what i was thinking. The guy has much more boat to work with, and that looks like a pretty elaborate rail system, but it will give me someting to show some of my "handy" helpers. Thanks much. And I've heard about the LEDs as well, ...

Trailer lights
I'm sure this will draw its fair share of humerous responses, but perhaps some help will also be mixed in. Anyone have any simple ideas for keeping trailer lights out of the water? It's just a small, jonboat trailer, but it's very frustrating and difficult to keep the lights functioning. Trying to f...

Re: What's up with fishing around the 98 Bridge in St. Marks
Was about to say the same as 1 Fish (above). from the fort, you won't find any clear water unless you get up into the Wakulla, and the boat traffic between the fort and the flats will be substantial. From the lighthouse, you can launch from shore, and find your own quiet place, or paddle to a bar (l...

Re: Fishng around St Marks light house
Go discover Bald Point (Alligator Point, east end). It's a bit longer drive (1 hour +) but sometimes very worth it. There's submerged bars to fish if you like that, and more of a beach to fish from. Have to plan around high tide, as tidal changes are great, and the water in front of the beach gets v...

Anyone know who won the "Skeeter". I was sorta planning on it, but they haven't called. Hope they didn't lose my number.

Well done Capt., sure the extra cache won't hurt a bit. Can't wait for one of my facebook boys to get up so we can see it! Luc needs one of Nina's friends for Jack & Jill.

Fished it Saturday from early high tide til about 1:30 (on the inside). No trouble spotting and catching Spanish . Only 3 keeper trout to 18". No reds. Hoped we'd do better, but from all the posts, seems we did pretty good.

Also ignored the weatherman, and fished bars etc. in and around Oyster Bay, Spring Creek and only a little off Shell Point. Net total was 1 15" flounder on a jig in Oyster Bay, as well as several short trout taken on shrimp under a popping float, 1 short red in Spring Creek, and a pretty nice s...
