Lighthouse mishap
Fished the lighthouse on Sunday. Dropped boat in hole and parked truck and trailer where i always do (early), right up by the walkway to the dock. Fishing was pretty slow. Returned to find someone had taken the turn too close and clipped the front of my truck, probably with a trailer. No one around,...

Re: Senior Lifetime Park Pass Price Increase
Thanks guys. So if I understand correctly, it would be good for the lighthouse.

Re: 2017 CCA STAR Tournament
Never a question, i kept mine (trout Division - 17 ft. skiff, random drawng), quite an upgrade from my leaky jonboat, only slight pain 6 months later when Uncle took his cut. I love the boat, and the tournament, and so far, one Grandson will get help with college thanks to a lady he caught off the b...

Re: SGI Area advice?
I know this is unusual, so it really won't help, and you'll be in a boat, but... been fishing off the beach in the state park for over 20 years. Last Sunday we got 3 slot and 1 short trout in the surf, using bait we castnetted. One was 26 inches, landed by my future daughter-in-law. Dead shrimp was ...

Re: 2017 CCA STAR Tournament
I don't read fine print very well....please help me with the categories. Am I understanding that redfish without a tag can only be entered in the Conservation Division? Conservation Division awards are based upon number of entries, not drawing? I was kicking myself for not entering any of the reds ...

Re: Great big thank you to Jack's Boats
Thanks Steve. Their best guess was condensation inside empty tank before it shipped, but the Mfgr. isn't buying that - they say the boat was just built right before it shipped, and the pressurized tank helps prevent that. Could have been a blessing as it led to finding the leaking separator, and som...

Great big thank you to Jack's Boats
Huge thank you to Waymond Carroll, Keith, Cole, Terry, and everyone else at Jack's Boats, for outstanding customer service, and for caring about people. The new boat (Yamaha 70) started alarming on Sunday, turned out, only in neutral. Seems that's a sign there's water in the gas. I've only put gas i...

Re: STAR Tournament Update
I tried to reply, but Brian's post must have interrupted and sent mine into limbo. Sorry I've been a little out of touch. Only had her out 7 times since October 15 when i picked her up. Luc and Savannah usually have an open seat, and I usually choose that option. Who wouldn't - he poles all day and ...

STAR Tournament Update
I guess i feel like the new boat makes me at least an unofficial spokesman. They keep making this better all the time, it was already a great deal. Especially when we're all chasing redfish anyway. CCA Florida STAR Tournament January 30 at 5:32pm · We're cranking up the heat, and Engel Coolers is he...

Re: NFGFC - February 4th 2017 Kickoff Tourney ROLL CALL!!!!!
Some Williams combo would be there, but Luc and Savannah are in LA (not catching much without me!) and I have a soccer conflict. Good luck to all, see ya'll soon. Bout to post a STAR update, figure it's the least I can do.
