Vengeance SS 10.375x14P Prop - SOLD

I have a Vengeance SS prop for sale. It is 10.375 x 14P with less than 20 hours on it. It has never hit anything and is perfectly balanced with no vibrations. I took it off my Merc 60HP 4 stroke because I was getting too many RPM's. Went with a 16P and have solved my problems. It does come with the ...

Re: Port St. Joe 4/4- 4/7

Hit-n -miss, it is a nice bay with no oyster beds. You run a ground, tilt it up and ease out. At low tide you will have to travel west of the sand bar to get back north unless you have a real skinny boat. Water is clear and there is a lot of visual throughout the day while fishing. Lots of grass and...

Re: Gulp Bait

Last year I tried my hand at surf fishing for the first time there in the state park. I used exclusively "fish bites" in the pink color with good success. Simple to use and last a long time. Just carry a pair of scissors to cut them in chunks. Nice not to fool with frozen or live bait. See...

I love my slick boards. Like they say, do not unhook unless you are ready to let her go. Showing no signs of wear with contersunk holes they are slick, pardon the pun

Re: favorite topwater lures??

I have tried evrything from Top Dog Jr's, Rapala's and Yozuri minnows. I have recently bought a Badonka Donk white with the red head and have the most success with it, both Reds and trout. Alot of times when i am fishing the CT and notice some cork hits is when I pull it out. I fish primarily St Joe...

Re: St. Joe State Park Surf Fishing

I guess surf fishing is like buying a house, location, location, location. With the success I had with fish bites I do not know if it is better than live bait or not, definetly easier to deal with. Nothing really out there to "pick it off the hook"

St. Joe State Park Surf Fishing

Took the camper down Sat. to leave it there for my mother and sister for the week. Decided to try luck at surf fishing for the first time. Got 2 inexpensive Mako surf combos from Bass Pro and headed that way. Not a whole lot on Sat. afternoon, just one whiting. Took some advise from an invidual and ...

Port St Joe 5/6-5/8

Good weekend on the bay. Missed our annual Easter trip with my buddy so we did it this weekend. Fished a couple of hours late Friday on the northeast side of Blacks and managed 2 keeper trout and 2 flounder. My buddy managed a 23.5" this afternoon. Sat. am decided to put in at the State park an...

MudDucker wrote: St. Joe Bay is a tough fishery in the heat. Put in at a local marina and get some local current advise. Fishing patterns change daily. There are good flats on both sides of the river, but also a lot of folks scalloping. Good luck! Thanks for the insight. Regardless, it sure beats wo...

Steinhatchee This Coming Weekend

Group of us headed to Steinhatchee this coming wekend for a couple of days of fishing. I was wondering if anyone had any insight on where to go? I have a 19 ft Carolina Skiff and will have a couple of newbies on board. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Spent last Sat. on St. Joe Bay with absolut...

Re: St Marks Sunday Good & Bad

Question, why would he issue a warning for out of date flares? I fish St. Joe Bay and have never been asked for flares. I was wondering if this is something new or other circumstances involved. I sure hate it for the prop. I had to be towed in last week on St. Joe for engine problems. Everyone on th...
