Re: Franklin County Welcomes Anglers
I was there this past Monday and Tuesday. Talked with a couple of the local business owners and they're glad everything's back up and running and they were also very appreciative for our patronage. They lost a lot of money just like a lot of people through no fault of their own. Tried to fish Monday...

Re: What fish WON'T you eat?
My favorite way to eat any kind of roe is just floured and fried.
But, years ago when we put nets in Spring Creek and Lake Seminole for suckers we would
saute onions and the roe in butter and then mix with chicken eggs. Very delicious

THANKS guys!! The advice to raise the motor was right on. I raised it one hole (about 2") took it to the river and tried it out and now it's perfect! My wife must be an outboard mechanic. When I told her I had raised it two inches, she said it's amazing what an extra two inches can do! :o

I just want to fish more. Don't really care about what fish I catch.
Although, I would like to catch a cobia.

My wife and I saw some mullet at Oyster Bay a couple of weekends ago. We were fishing from our kayaks.

Re: St. Marks 2/22/19
Thanks for the report. Beats sitting at a desk. Gulp! baits are made with menhaden oil and the menhaden aren't here yet. Shrimp are, however. You can go with the real McCoy or you might try a 1/4-oz. DOA shrimp in near clear, gold glitter/glow or root beer. Add a squirt of Pro-Cure shrimp bait gel ...

Re: Lesson in Irony
How many of you folks are willing to grow your own food? There is abuse in the farm payments system and yes, it was intentionally put there by politicians to even subsidize window box farming in Chicago and the likes. :o However, a bulk of the funds go to stabilize farming and keep the price of foo...
