Ahi Pro Series 500 9ft Mullet net for $80 firm

Never used, still in the unopened bucket, Ahi Pro Series 500 9ft mullet net. 1inch mesh, 1.25lbs per radius foot. I paid $125 for it last year. Now going for $150+ online, if you can find it. Awesome mullet net, but I blew out my right knee recently and can't throw big nets anymore. Good Christmas p...

New $2399 kayak for $1400

Feelfree Lure Overdrive 13.5 kayak with pedal drive. New is $2399 plus tax. Yours for $1400. I won it in the Rock the Dock tournament. Probably the only high-end kayak I would want, but my station wagon with roof racks got rear-ended, and now I drive a Prius, which can only fit kayaks under 10 feet....

Re: ST Marks NWR buying Flint Rock WMA?

They won't even allow hunting of feral hogs, which are ruining the levee bike/hike trails with their rooting.

Re: St. Marks Update?

There are trout of all sizes in Stoney Bayou right now. With colder water, very slow retrieves into holes/troughs with light jig head soft baits (like 1/8 oz curly tails) has been working on either side of low tides. They seem to be concentrated, so maybe keep moving if you do not hook up right away.

Re: Cats going missing

Jeff, I totally get it. I am very much not a cat person, but if my wife had pushed harder, we would have kept those kittens. Perhaps we all have an instinct to care for a life that needs help.

Re: Cats going missing

Based on your subject title, I immediately thought my wife and I were the culprits. But no... Two small cats approached us at the HWY 90 Ochlockonee River boat ramp two weeks ago. Took them to the Leon County Animal Shelter to get them spayed/neutered and cared for, then recently returned them to th...

Re: October's Captain's Meeting

Jay, thanks much for directing AND helping me learn the cell phone photo function, and congrats on your 2nd place finish.

Hope you know that we all appreciate the efforts of you, Rick, and Huck at weigh-in. The tournaments would not happen without you guys!

Re: October's Captain's Meeting

For those who signed up but can't make the meeting...please post here if there are any changes or additional notes to the original schedule, which indicated that launch options are Econfina/Aucilla, and weigh-in is 3:30pm at JR's at the Aucilla bridge. I checked the NFGFC website just now, but did n...

I vote for C-P-R, since it would force me to get better with using my smartphone that I absolutely detest but my wife now makes me carry.

Re: Aluminum vs Fiberglass for our area

I'm selling a dinky (11.5ft) aluminum semi-V, with trailer, for $250. Probably too small for those reading this thread, only rated 9hp, but a super cheap way to putter up the East River. Neither the boat nor trailer has been within 20 miles of salt water.

Classic Sears aluminum semi-V hull and trailer for $250

Forever ago, my dad bought new a 1970 Sears Gamefisher 11.5ft semi-V hull 2-seat aluminum boat and only used it a few dozen times. Stored under cover in Orlando for 40+ years, then he drove it up to Tally, where it remained under cover in my back yard. Boat and trailer are in very good condition, re...
