Re: Landing passes
Lighthouse ramp year pass $15, purchase at gate, best year round for small boats and if you have flexible hours for fishing around low tides. Stock up at Jerry's or Shield's. Fort Ramp year pass $40, purchase at Town Hall, best all boats, sizes, times, and tides. Although, can get insane during summ...

Re: Solo launching at Lighthouse Ramp
I have seen most just beach it right next to ramp on bank, only smaller boats though. I have a 16ft CC. I'm not sure about bigger boats, that is still the only ramp I have yet to launch solo as well. If it wasn't busy, I would just dock it and run back around to ramp.

Re: Lake Jackson
Yes, but there hasn't been enough water to launch a boat from there in years. I drove by yesterday and water was nowhere near high enough. There were several trucks and trailers at the HWY 27 ramp heading back into town.

Re: Ochlockonee river/bay fishing
Be careful of the negative low tide this weekend in the mid morning. As long as you put in early it should be no problem, although it might be mid afternoon before you can get a 20ft center console back on a trailer, if tide waits to come back in. I have seen some bass boats drifting the shoreline f...

Re: WEEKEND INSHORE WEATHER NOT Looking good.
I will take a north/NE wind over a south/SE wind any day of the week! The fishing is heating up right now and there are a lot more spots to fish in a N wind than a S wind. Then again, I like to sight fish very shallow. But, as they say, you'll never know unless you go. Some of the beat trips I've ha...

2012 skeeter 24zx 300hp four stroke with custom T-top. Went for demo ride at Rock the Dock. Hit 63mph and turns on a dime going 35mph, although we got soaked when wind blew water back over us, most fun i've had since playing on a super charged honda jet ski a few years ago. The $80,000 price tag is ...

Re: anyone going out tomorrow?
St. Marks is getting blasted right now. Very strong winds, lightning, and sideways rain. You might want to take your time getting down here today. Sitting in the car trying to wait it out. Repeat of last Saturday, got to our spot watch plug getting blown up and then....BOOM, lightning stikes instead...

Was planning on going today, best laid plans...be out there at first light tomorrow. Hope it's not a repeat of last Saturday, barely made it back to ramp in time. Good luck and see you out there!

Re: D.O.A TerrorEyz
I have had luck with reds and trout around oyster bars.I mostly use the red/white ones, bouncing them slow on the bottom seems to work best. If you find a school of bait fish a fast retrieve works great. I havent had much luck with DOA shrimp but have a buddy in jax that catches everything on them.

Thank you for the suggestions, I offered to bring it up to him from Woodville, but he decided to order from Moultrie. I told him to mention FHC from site when ordering for the referral.
