I read years ago that vinegar dissolves salt. I always put a little in my wash bucket. I also keep a spray bottle with a mild mixture and spray my tackle with it before rinsing after each use. It really reduces spotting, so I assume the salt is being removed.

I am making my first trip to AP later this month. Staying on one of the canals in the SE corner of the bay. I have a fiberglass bay boat, but have never fished this area. Any ideas on general areas to start and what structure is in the area (grass, oysters, etc)

Would you consider selling the poling platform only?

Not looking for any secret spots, but I haven't had much success fishing the CR area. Can anybody share any advice on what to look for around here for trout and redfish?
Should I go out through the channel markers, or fish the areas off of the river on the way out?

What size and style hook is recommended for each of the below rigs?

* Drifting a pinfish or LY behind the boat, while fishing the flats.

* Bottom fishing for sheepshead under bridges.

* Freelining for tarpon in the bays.
