Re: Shark tails

Was just looking to share my story and see if anyone else had the same tails. I too was that guy who sat in the boat sayin...

Re: Shark tails

Believe me my coconuts shrank a few sizes on the last dive. I'll use less weight from now on

Shark tails

Ok, I'm a little on edge about these shark encounters here of late. As I mentioned in the "Sharks" topic I had a few run ins with a couple of sharks and wanted to get some feedback from everyone else on their encounters. Again, thanks for all the reply's. Well, I went out again this weeken...

Re: Sharks

I've heard about a Tiger patrolling the ledges out off Carrabelle for awhile now. Several divers and a few fishermen have talked about seeing a good size Tiger shark out there. A few also saying they were chased out of the water by it. I hear the diving and fishing are great over there on the ledges...

Re: Sharks

Thanks guys, that kinda confirms there is some activity going on out there in shore and off. In the past couple of years I have been diving, I have not had any problems with sharks (once or twice but not to bad). Sunday on the other hand was just eerie the way they kept coming in closer and closer e...

Sharks

I was just wanting some feedback if anyone else has had run ins with sharks lately? Saturday was a pretty nice day with some nice fish, but Sunday I was talking to a guy at K tower and he was saying they have been hearing of a couple sharks buzzing the tower. After fishing for about an hour and will...

Re: Water temp?

Best i can tell it will be around upper 60's to lower 70's, hopefully more so in the 70's. Will be burning up in a wetsuit out of the water and cold in the water.

I have been diving for a few years now around the St. Marks area and do not know or see very many people out there diving. Does anyone want to hook up and do any dive trips? I have my own boat, so I'm not looking hitch a ride. A few of us would just like to meet more divers in the area to plan trips...
