Hell all, Just got back down here from the midwest and wondering if fish are biting from the beach.. and what is biting? I was thinking about shore fishing someplace around st george or at mashes sands... Anyone know whats biting this week?

Man, I was warned about the large and aggressive gators, but not the snakes. However, being from the Midwest, I look out for snakes everywhere in the wilderness down here. That's one thing I stay very wary of, as it's something we don't have to worry about in Wisconsin.

Update: Last night I checked out a used Pelican Castaway, 5 years old. It was mighty scratched up, especially on the bottom. Some of the bottom scratches appeared to be nearly 1" deep. My main concerns: the price wasn't right for a 5 year old scratched up 'yak that retails at the local Sports ...
