Your totally right fishforfun...went out with the fam from 11-3 at St. Marks this Sunday and caught nothing. Searched creeks on the st. Marks and went upriver past the power plant and nothing. But...this is why I love fishing!

After getting some work done I decided to head out and do some walking and fishing around 11 am. Sunny with bluebird clear skies. Air temp was about 67 and rising quickly. Sounds like the perfect weekend, Nuts. I look forward to the day my kids reel in their first keeper. Eventually they will put the baits and barbies down and pick up a rod.

We fished past the power plant around the first bend and decided to head back to the fort. Heard there was a lot of trout action happening up the river though. We did watch a guy catch a Pelican on the way back towards the fort on a jerkbait.
