Your totally right fishforfun...went out with the fam from 11-3 at St. Marks this Sunday and caught nothing. Searched creeks on the st. Marks and went upriver past the power plant and nothing. But...this is why I love fishing!

After getting some work done I decided to head out and do some walking and fishing around 11 am. Sunny with bluebird clear skies. Air temp was about 67 and rising quickly. Got to Finger 4 and landed a nice 1 pound bass. Unfortunately it was the only bass caught. Caught a nice sunburn also! A bass ...

Taking the family out to Lake Talquin this Sunday. Anybody having any luck bass or striper fishing on Lake Talquin these days?

We fished past the power plant around the first bend and decided to head back to the fort. Heard there was a lot of trout action happening up the river though. We did watch a guy catch a Pelican on the way back towards the fort on a jerkbait.

Rastus and I launched from the fort around 7am. Finally installed my Humminbird and can give more accurate environment posts...now if I could just post more about fish! We fished on a rising tide.
