Nice looking fish. Is that a river hawk? I used to own a b-52, but since downgraded to the 13' duck boat with a little surface drive. Sometimes I wish I still had the b-52 and 10 horse johnson to fish some of the rivers with.

Be careful backing your boat in. With the lake still draining, the water level has dropped pretty good. Your trailer pretty much has to be backed off the ramp, and it is a decent drop.

Didn't fare too well in the fishing department today, but there were more scallops than I felt like cleaning. Place was packed with boats as well. Still on the smaller side, but plenty there!

Had the same problem as you, Garmin said the same thing. Ended up installing an additional cheap fish finder to use as depth finder.

If you don't want to drill into the seat, they make a clamp that you mount your seat to and then clamp to the bench. I bought one, but haven't put it on yet. I'm not sure how stable they are, but I wanted my seat to be removable for duck season.

Looks like it is coming along well. I got my front deck cut out today, I am just putting in a low front deck to mount a cooler. What are you going to make the decks out of? Are you just using plywood? I thought about trying to use a composite that is lighter, but the price difference just doesn't justify the weight difference. I ran mine yesterday with my 10 horse and I need some extra weight in the front anyways.

Has anyone tried using woody wax non skid protectant on their boat? It is suppose to really help in the cleaning process of the non skid after applied. It is expensive, but sounds like you don't have to use much, but you do have to reapply every few months.

Yes, the st. marks channel is clearly marked. If you decide to go east there are some rocks, but they are a little further down.
