Back in Louisiana, we took used small circle hooks, with crabs on the piers at night. I also took a flat head shovel and long handle to scrape barnacles ans mussels off pililings as to chum the water. Good luck.

Not sure bout all of that... There is a man named Cletus, that works in the back of SGO in the fishing area... Ask him for advice. He has alway put me on fish, especially from the surf. Good times.

ADL spoons and or CT with live shrimp. Fish the northern side of the of the mouth behind oyster beds. cast towards bed then slow retrieve to boat.. was a lot of trout out there last time i fished it

I had a blast, helping out where I could. Since my angler was a no show, I offered to take one of the coordinators out. Hung around the 17 bar, cause of weather.
