The wife and I took the day to look at some new homes and get some much needed work done around the house. We made the call to make a river run after our chores were complete and headed to St Marks. John Johansen out of Bud n Mary's in Islamorada. Had small window of time to go because of weather, but put us on some back country tarpon. He is very personable and knowledgeable, learned alot from him and is family friendly. He got my vote.

I always land them on the west end of talquin, but need a boat. I call them Choupique, that is about all they are good for other than testing line and drag.
