wow thanks for taking the time to find that stuff for me guys! i think i've got it narrowed down. it may not be a purchase i make right away, but i have a pretty good idea of what i want. i definitely want to try to stay in the $10K range, and it looks like thats what the used G3's are going for.

oh and im not really looking for a family oriented boat. im a 24 year old single guy. i travel alot for work so this will be a rig i take out by myself most of the time, with the occasional passenger.

ill look into the sea ark. FWC had alot of those too...with jet drives. i'd say probly 18'. are there any dealers around here that sell sea ark?

believe it or not i put in at lower bridge on 98 and run out there now. i didnt realize it was 7 miles to the lighthouse from the fort, that should make it at least 8.5 from 98. two weekends ago i put in at 98 and ran out to stoney bayou. made it there and back on about 2 gallons of fuel

got skunked today at st marks
took the boat out about 5pm today and fished the tide creeks around st marks...3 gators ran me out of one creek and a manatee followed me around in another...not one fish to speak of. but i did get a pretty sunset and the water was smooth as glass once the sun set.

thanks guys, i've been wanting to go out there, but my 1436 alumacraft might be a little too small. plus i like putting in at 98 so my motor gets flushed out good before i take it out of the water. maybe ill put in at the lighthouse this weekend. i really dont like the idea of running in salt water ...
