Thanks Rainman and I'll definitely take your advice. I've fished the lighthouse a couple of times and maybe 1/4 mi plus off shore just in front of it and all was well. Invariably I'll eventually find a rock lol and insurance is a good thing!

Thanks for the continued input. If I can hit the tides right, I'm good with the lighthouse ramp but I'll avoid it at all costs with anything close to a low tide.
