Sea robins also HV some fairly pronounced spines on gill plates and back of Head. Can be quite orange in color(winglike fins and orangish color=sea robin..they have flaky white meat. Tasty

Sorry to hear abt all the sqeetrs in yr neck of woods. I'm hunting appal nat. First. out of Tallahassee. No rain here all of Oct. Bow hunted 3 mornings and4 afternoons. Havnt used thrmocell yet.hvnt seen many deer either. Been in mid 80'spast week

Got on afew reds early morn on oysterbr. No big ones. Mostly 17-20" w some rats mixed in. Using jig/zman/shrimp combo.then moved off and caught a few try on mirrodine twitch. Lots of glass minows(most iv seen this yr)I didn't catch any keepers after 11am

Nice report and good catch.I caught some nice trt outside of piny island this past Thursday. They were under some baitfish.

Talking abt the released fsh being eaten by sharks(some that hvnt been yet released)_saw a show to day where dolphin(as well as sharks) were hanging around and picking off the released ref snappers and groupers that were being caught out of season. Looked like a pretty high mortality rate. Never see...

Yea I to saw that last data analized- was 2013. Fish were PLENYIFUL THEN AND THE COUPLE PRECIDING YRS. I didn't understand that reasoning. Yes I can see that it will decrease my part of the desimation of the species. I can live it.I personally like redfsh over trt but both are good to eat.
