Re: Red Tide
I trolled for kings out of Mexico Beach area last Friday. Dead fish everywhere we fished on the buoy line and 3 miles out from the buoy line. Didn't see any large dead fish. Saw no bait fish and did not have a strike.

Re: Aucilla 12/26
Yes, we saw the shorts being caught in the river but thought we could find some larger fish out of the river with the warm temperature. It was obviously a mistake leaving the river.

Bottom Fishing Question
When the water heats up during this time of the year do the grouper and snapper normally move to deeper water? If so, what depth should you be looking for these fish now?
Thanks,
Thanks,

Re: Carrabelle Trip
No, I didn't make it out that day. Had to drive back to Ga. without fishing. Tracker Marine repaired the motor under warranty. Hope to get back to the coast this weekend, if weather will cooperate.

Carrabelle Trip
A few weeks ago I made the run down to Carrabelle from Ga. I had been waiting patiently for three weeks on the weather to try the grouper. Launched my almost new boat in the river and prepared for what I hoped to be a successful day on the water. Put the key into the ignition and turned the key ...

Econfina 10/24
Got on the water around 8:30. Water was very clear and in the mid 70's. Caught a few small fish including two keeper trout in 4 to 5 ft. Around 11 went to shallow water to try reds. Caught four reds in 19-20" range. Been a very slow fishing year for me but Saturday was a lot of fun.
