Re: Pinfish at Econfina?
Sounds good....What size hook and "bait" are you using for pinfish? I've heard everything from Small pieces of Gulp to frozen chicken livers/gizzards, etc...Almost sounds like fishing for bream...

Guides around Orange Beach AL
Good morning all. We are taking a family trip to the Orange Beach, AL area in August. Looking to possibly take a short 1/2 day charter for my son, son-in-law & myself? Any guide suggestions? Probably would like to take a relatively short nearshore/offshore trip. Suggestions are welcome....Thanks!

Keaton Beach 06/02/2015
Well, the admiral and I decided to brave the local weather forecast yesterday and take a trip to Keaton Beach. We have to schedule our fishing trips not on the weather but when we can go.
We got the marina and the lift was working and they had shrimp! Last trip we made they had neither! So it ...

Re: Drank the cool-ade
I've had 2 recent returns for repairs, both this year (2015). The main one was what I had discussed earlier, they let me chose any pair of glassses they had in their inventory. :D Most recently, i sent a pari back with a bad hinge, cost me $12 I think for shipping, I got back the repaired glasses ...

Re: Drank the cool-ade
I've been wearing Costa's for close to 15 years...Probably had 6-7 pairs during the time. I keep leaving them at places.. :( Anyway, I;ve had VERY good luck with them. Most recently had a pair that the rubber on the ear piece had separated from the frame. The glasses were probably 3 years old and ...

Keaton Beach 4/8/2015
Good Afternoon all....
First time trip post for me. Been a lurker for quite awhile...thought I would let y'all know what went on.
First, y'all need to find out when I'm trying to fish. Then make sure you go either before or after me. You will be assured to catch fish.

I have a Z910 John Deere. It hink its 22 HP can't remember! 54 inch cut...before that, I've had Snappers, Craftsman, etc.. This by FAR is the best mower I have ever had. I can cut 2 acres in about 1 1/2 hours....before , it would take me at least 3 1/2.....All I have done is change oil & blades ...

Re: Garmin GPS Chartplotter Question
I have a older model Garmin GPS (188) in black & white no less....I know I'm cheap! But it works for me. A buddy of mine & myself went to the Keys a couple of years ago to fish a Maverick Boat Co owners Tournament. He has a Garmin 740 I think...anyway, he is a Techy, not like me. He was able to pull ...
