Go west toward Aucilla. The water east is way too clear. Stay between 3 and 4 foot deep. (move wih the tide) Fish hard 1 hour before and after low tide. White and pink grubs under a popping cork produced for us Friday and Saturday following this pattern.

The good news is the folks that want to leave the limit at 1 do not have to keep 2 fish You can still just keep 1 and release the rest. The law does not say you have to keep 2. It is true the limit has doubled - but - that does not mean the actual take will double.

OK. So let me get this right. If I am offshore "Red Grouper fishing" and I accidentally catch a gag grouper that does not survive - I have to throw him back to be consumed by the sharks or crabs? Why do I not have an incidental accidental ooooops I didn't mean to catch him BS buffer? Hell ...

I know for a fact grouper migrate from deeper to shallower water year round. Last trip I personally witnessed 6 keeper gags migrate from 30 foot to the Econfina boat ramp in less than 45 minutes.
