ISO Trailer for 14 ft. Jon Boat
I have a trailer that has wiring, lights, and is pretty complete except one side of it rusted off. I'd like to buy a better one and maybe sell mine for parts, or maybe trade.

Three for the 20th?
I have three able bodies who will be ready to fish offshore next Monday the 20th of June. I'd like to get into some big fish, maybe tarpon, cobia, kings, dolphin, etc., but I don't know how realistic that is, and it will also depend on this crazy, Panhandle weather cooperating. I'm an older guy, but ...
Re: PineyZ
Let us know how you do. I've been meaning to go there for a long time, but I've never made it. What time will you be there? Using stink bait or worms? I'd love to use crayfish (added chance of getting a bass), but I haven't been able to find any.

Re: Lakes For Catfish
I'm surprised nobody's cared to give you any info on cats. I haven't tried it yet, but a wildlife agent said that there are plenty of decent catfish, channel cats I think, in Piney Z. Shoreline fishing can be done using any of the several ''fingers" that extend into the lake. Cast your favorite bait ...

Fishing with Drones
It had to happen eventually. This is the future, boys. The kite becomes a dinosaur.

Does this report translate to launching in Wakulla County?

Head Boat from Mexico Beach to Destin
My son will be visiting in June. I was wanting to go out with him offshore. I've only been inshore fishing from the Panacea - St. Marks area, but I'd rather target deeper water closer in such as can be found west of here. Can someone recommend either a trolling or bottomfishing head boat that could ...

Isn't he referring to 'Government Cut' at the far northeast part of SGI?

Re: Gag grouper size limit change and season set
So from July through December you can launch from Wakulla County, go into international waters, catch keeper gags and return to a Wakulla County boat-launch and not get busted, as long as you don't stop to do any fishing in state waters?

Re: Whats your desired action in a rod?
I guess I don't have enough recent experience to zero in on what I'd like as the perfect length/action. I have a very whippy Fenwick HMX 8'3" spinning rod that's fun to cast and retrieve, but with braid the line wraps around the tip and is aggravating to undo. I'd probably choose a 7 if in one piece ...

Fished the power plant stretch of St. Marks late Sunday and didn't see any action. Maybe the long warm spell has them dispersed.

Re: Starting a 20 Johnson 4-stroke
We took it to a shop, and he fixed it where it starts with the first press of the starter button. Now when we get it up to high speed it seems to be missing. It gets a little rough. Maybe we'll take it back in to see if he can fix it. I don't have much luck with boats/motors. I have a nice ...

Re: Starting a 20 Johnson 4-stroke
"If....you get tired of fooling with it I would be interested in buying it from you if its a short (15") shaft and in good overall shape."
Unfortunately, it's a long shaft. It looks nearly new under the cowl. The previous owner put a jack plate on the stern to elevate the motor. It's on a 14X36 ...

Re: Starting a 20 Johnson 4-stroke
It's a tiller...just the basic twist grip throttle and steer. It's the Johnson 4 stroke 20 hp 2003 I think is the year. I got it used a few months ago.
So I fixed the corrosion
problem, and it turned over a few times but didn't start. Some residual water was spit out. I don't have the lower unit in ...
