Was fishing right before a thunderstorm developed nearby, casted out my wet monofilament fishing line, using a graphite fishing pole, the bait went under water but the mono line hovered about three feet above the saltwater; a lot of static electricity in the air. God's way of telling me to stop fish...

I've done good using saltwater catfish, cut the head and barbs off, use the back 2/3's of the carcass with the guts intact; use some weight to keep the bait on the bottom.

Excellent flounder cut-bait, just fillet the meat off of the sides of the sea robin and use it while drifting or else slowly reeling bait along the bottom.
