Re: 2004 Key West 1720 CC Sportsman *LOW HOURS*
Let it go for $9K but we had a little wiggle room built in. Probably could have held out to spring and got more but we were ready to cut it loose and make some room in my shop. We upgraded to a Seafox 19BF and we had both boats in there.

Re: Minn Kota I-Pilot vs Motorguide XI5
[quote="silverking"]Mine is a 12 volt Xi5 without GPS.... I usually run it on lower speeds, but at full power you could almost ski behind my skiff.
Silverking what thrust and how big is your skiff? I have a 20' CC and was figuring the 24V 80lb thrust would do the job.

Minn Kota I-Pilot vs Motorguide XI5
About ready to pull the trigger on a new saltwater GPS troller. Obviously I'm looking at the I-Pilot Terrova vs the XI5. I'm looking at the 24V 80lb thrust with 60" shaft. The XI5 in general is approx $300 less so the first thought that comes to mind is "what would I be getting other than ...

Re: Looking for the skinny on sand trout
Thanks Steve and Silverking, that was the info I was looking for. We caught a bunch back a few years ago with a guide fishing out of Steinhatchee and I made the mistake of freezing some. When I finally got around to eating them they were way too strong. I brought home a few from this past trip for a...

We caught them in Oclocknee Bay. We started out catching them on shrimp but then switched over to gulp pieces.

Looking for the skinny on sand trout
Made it down to Panacea last week for a few days of fishing and got into the sand trout pretty thick. I was told these fish migrate into the area this time of year. Just curious as to when these fish arrive in numbers and when they leave. I cant find much intel on the net regarding their migrations ...
