I haven't seen them in the Carrabelle river much. But I haven't been down in a few weeks. You used to be able to get your boat certified and receive sticker to display on the boat and eliminate repeat check.

Been awhile but there's some flounders around the bridge. I fished a 1/4 oz red head with a chartreuse gulp curly tail and caught 3 in 45 minutes. Had to leave because my wife was on the beach waiting on me. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160919/46febf61efd9fbfa865c8e8b56c31c92.jpg

I used 8/0 octopus hooks for years with very few problems. Maybe coming from China now!

I have fished out of Cbelle a lot and 50' has been a good depth for red grouper. Run ssw about 10 miles outside east pass. Good luck!

This is the reason for selling my offshore boat. Why go out there if you can't keep nothing! Crazy.

I never let one go on my deer lease, mostly timber rattlers. I've tried 44 mag rat shot and they were useless. 22 mag is extremely deadly.

Morning folks, been awhile!

This has only happened to me one time by accident. Seen a few jump and started throwing cast net. Wish I new more about it . Congrats on getting some free and fresh.

I prefer a Zara spook in a pin fish pattern . It has a purple back. Then walk the dog at a steady pace. Lg reds really like it. Good luck
