Re: Lake Jackson 4/22/14
Head on out! Everyone should live somewhat close to Lake Jackson. The spring bite is on and the new moon cometh early next week.

Lake Jackson 4/22/14
I spent the entire weekend partying on my 35' boat at St Marks with some friends, so I really hadnt planned on doing too much this week. I was afraid we'd have an inbetween type week, and nothing much would be biting. The prior week the surface temps were consistently in the low 60s and only crappie...

Lake Talquin 4/18/14
Today was a true test of will and strength. I had many dreams and aspirations for this last 3rd day of the April full moon. I haven't fished Talquin since early last summer and have been trying to Crappie fish at the closer lakes (Hall, Jackson and Piney Z) I had assumed since it had rained 2 days p...

Lake Jackson 4/11/14
been awhile since Ive written a report, winter fishing has been a little slow (just a few fish in our short fishing trips, nothing worth reporting) and I've been getting the spring maintenance on all the boats up to date during the winter while finishing a ground up resto on my big boat slipped at S...

Re: Piney Z lake
The trees are very hit or miss. There are not too many fish around them but what you will find can be big. Weve bagged some of our largest bull gills by the cypress stands, and some of our 4-5lb bass there too. Lots of bait hang around there especially when the sun is out. One tree in particular is ...

Re: Lake Hall 3/15/14
I've been fishing or at least trying to, one of my small boats was wet slipped and capsized destroying my trolling motor and humminbird. It took me a month to get everything fixed/replaced. I've been out several times, and the last 3 trips the day after a front produced nothing. Of course I didnt ha...

Lake Hall 3/15/14
We put in at 2pm to a slight breeze from the south west. Surface temps were 62 over the main lake and as warm as 65 on the west end of the lake. We missed the 10-12:20 feeding time and the specs and bait had moved out to 15ft.We fished the west end where it was calm and warmer and boated our first 2...

Re: St Marks 12\6\13
Nice job! I love hitting those creeks from here to econfina. We just wanted an easy day on the water today. The holes in the creeks in close proximity to the flats are so money at the right time. I really wanna check out stoney bayou on a high tide. I marked every hole in the channel there on a wint...

St Marks 12\6\13
I got here yesterday and fished for a quick 40 minutes before the sun went down. I fished the peak outgoing tide and the weather was very cooperative while out on the water. Spent 15 min upriver of shields and didn't get a bite on the ledges. With 15 minutes of daylight left I anchored up on the poi...

St Marks River 11/25---11/27/13
I stayed the last 3 nights down in St. Marks on the 35' Nautaline. We were only planning on staying a night, but with the weather ruining a day of fishing yesterday we ended up staying another night. On monday (25th) we arrived around 2pm and launched the small boat at the fort and drove it back up ...

This was a guys trip this time. The ladies will be out another day! I do just enough for a living to buy more boats, and have the time to use them. Hope this fishing report helps out anyone wanting to come down to the river!

St Marks River 11/12-13/13
Spent the night with some friends on the big boat the last 2 days, and I also brought down one of my small boats to do some inshore fishing. We missed the daytime tidal run, so we grilled out, drank beers, and philandered until around 10pm. It was hard resisting the urge to put some baits in the wat...
