Its true alright, I saw the evidence and posted the first hint of the tale.

Forum access

I have problems accessing the Forum sometimes, it comes up on my browser as "not secure" , but other times I get on quite normally. I get the same reaction whether I use Edge, Firefox, or Google Chrome. Its not a major problem, but it does mean that I arrive a bit late on some topics. Perh...

Re: futchcairo

I'm posting late because I missed this update on Earl . Its good to hear that he and Ma are well, but I am not sure two broken arms qualify, the resilience of this southern gent is legendary. Please send him my best wishes also, we spent some enjoyable hours in their company and Pa's stories are ama...

Re: FUTCHCAIRO???

Good to know that PA and Martha are well and seeing him on his mower is par for the course.
Anyone who knows where Earl lives will know that they will have no problems isolating.

Re: Last Post On This Site

If everyone would add the usernames of those members they want to ignore to their "foe" list, their posts won't show up and pretty soon they'll be talking to their selves. :-D I've added a couple lately. Well spotted, I have never noticed that facility until now. Probably becaus...

Re: Last Post On This Site

I certainly wouldn't let the words of someone on a fishing Forum offend me.
Just ignore them, they are not worth the effort.

Re: Contracting the Coronavirus

This is an excellent website for current information about the spread of this virus and its effect. https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/ . Some of the countries badly affected/infected are not much bigger than some US states, but probably have greater population density. Others, like Italy hav...

Re: Roost Shoot.

With pigeon, I usually just take the breast meat, sometimes I will crown the bird. In my more active pigeon shooting years almost all the birds I shot were sold to the Game Dealers, in the busy times of the year this would be 2-300 birds a week. This helped to pay for my cartridges and subsidised th...

Roost Shoot.

I received an invite to a roost shoot for last night, this was from the Gamekeeper of a Shoot I use to be a member of. The game season has finished (so no disturbing the pheasants) and the pigeons have been causing havoc on the winter rape and greens. The plan was for a dozen or so guns to meet up a...

Re: Knee surgery

Had my first therapy session at rehab this morning and they made a difference. Don't know if it was the different exercises or the electric shock from the TENs unit but it's getting better. :-D If those people are any good, they give you confidence and that is as important as the exercises. If it b...
