Re: Wacissa river tips
My tip is don't. The plastic navy will be out in force between blue and the headwaters. If you go much further down, and aren't really familiar with the area, you are likely to be victimized by one of the many rather large rocks. You would have much better luck on a weekday.

Not the Hawaiian bikini model boat..
It seems, I was unwittingly aboard the banana boat. Went out of a local port to a super secret locale to do a little red fish capturing. Things were going about as horrible as possible. I was just before heading back to the launch when I looked back and noticed my lady friend holding something. I sq...

Re: How many of you fish out of a Jon boat for inshore?
I personally know the guy who was driving the boat, and the guy who got hacked up, albeit only to the leg. It was a pretty serious situation. Had no way to get back up river, and the boy was bleeding badly. Luckily, another fisherman had launched at a small rarely used launch close to them, and had ...

Re: GULF REEF FISHING SURVEY
Head is just fine, just a case of couldntsleepitis. So what of the April 1st deadline? Email from fwc said sign up by April 1st. I would assume I could sign up at anytime of the year as long as it's before I go fishing.

Re: GULF REEF FISHING SURVEY
This reply is specifically geared at thomas curves, when they ask you for your customer id, you are supposed to give them the # off of your license, not your fishing nickname "no fishing b$*&ch". Good luck getting it accomplished now that you are armed with the right information.

Re: Now you are FORCED to take a survey to get a license
Although I applaud the gulf states for entertaining such a bold stance, do any of you think the feds will relinquish control of the cash cow that is the gulf fishery? We all know the gulf council is in bed with the commercial guys, and although I see the need for their existence, I do not agree with...

I'm thinking a resounding no Gulf Coast Shrimp. Sounds like an interesting tourney though.
