Re: This Saturday.???
We did pretty good. Didn't limit out, but probably could have if we had spent a little more time in the water vs socializing. The scallops are definitely still there. We all left our kids with the grandparents as they are still too young to scallop, so this was more of an adult social getaway. We ...

Re: This Saturday.???
Wife wants me to take her scalloping this weekend. Haven't been to st marks in a few months but was considering going there tomorrow. What's the scallop report like this late in season? Probably search for something to tug on a line on that outgoing tide also. Y'all been having any luck? It still ...

Re: Mad Anthony's
I've only eaten there 4-5 times over the past 5 months but have never experienced a problem with service or food. Usually order the tacos or shrimp basket. Think I had a blt last time. I hate to see the bad reviews as I would like this place to stay open. I'm considering keeping my boat at rock ...

Re: Official Scallop report thread!
We also loaded up on them at Keaton today. It was very crowded but for the most part the ramp traffic flowed better than expected. Had a fwc officer pay me a quick visit because my dive flag slid down while we were in the water. He was very polite and didn't bother checking anything (not even ...

Re: Today's catch 6/12/2015
Strong work! I didn't fair quite as well but did have a fun day at at marks. Released 2 barely legal trout as well as a few shorts. Caught a jack on top water. Also boated a 20 in cobia on the west flat. I'm still exploring/learning the area. Since it was so slick after the rain this morning I ...

Re: Keaton 5-30
Thanks for the tips! This is my first year with my own boat so there has been a learning curve, but I'm getting there.

Keaton 5-30
New to forum and haven't posted much, mainly due to slow fishing, but here goes: My buddy and I decided to give Keaton a try yesterday and just as the forecast said, the weather was beautiful. We took the wives so half the day I worked like a charter captain. Put in around lunch to fish the ...

Re: Big green egg users
X2 on the pizza stone. I also have the rib rack which is nice when cooking for a lot of people. You can make a place setter out of an old pizza stone. Just put one of the wife's cake pans under it to raise the stone a bit, or bricks etc... I still use the fire starter blocks that BGE sells but ...
