Re: Lake Miccosukee crappie

Does anyone know if they're schooling up near Reeves Landing yet? Two years ago they were in there thick. Last winter it may never have gotten cold enough and they never showed up.

Griff, count me in for an 8 footer just like you're ordering. BTW, Fishbaitbilly and I are heading back to HM tomorrow to enjoy the mild temperatures.

Good report SD. Time to plan a wade trip again when your work schedule allows. Ed

Re: Favorite Yak Launch this time of year

The road coming in from 14 wasn't bad at all last week. Haven't checked out Cow Creek Grade.

Re: Alligator Point Advice

That may be the clam farm and sand ramp. If you stop there, fish off to the right (west). You can go to either of the next two openings to the water. The first opening past the sand ramp has multiple oyster bars. The next opening just past the "St. Teresa" sign is mostly mud bottom, but th...

Re: Stingray Shuffle at Panacea 5/24/14

Wonder if you were the guy I saw wading east of Bottoms Road Saturday. I was paddling/wading across from there, on the west side of Piney Island Saturday morning. All I got was lots of ladyfish & a rat red! What brand of Kevlar boots do you wear for wading? I like my NRS workboots, but Kevlar s...

Re: Stingray Shuffle at Panacea 5/24/14

So I went back for a reprise today, but the nice flat water was gone. Seas were 2 feet and occasionally white capping, and it made wading miserable. After a couple hours, I packed it up and went over to St. Teresa hoping to find the sheltered bay smoother. It was choppy, but much better. I ended up ...

Stingray Shuffle at Panacea 5/24/14

I've been following the forum for a while, but haven't had anything to post. So here is my first one. Got to Panacea about 2 hours after low tide. I was glad I wore my Kevlar boots because the rays were every where. I started throwing a top water but it was a little choppy and nothing was interested...
