Re: Econfina / Hickory mound 6/8/14

St. Marks 5-27

Launched out of Shell Island at 0600 and headed east. It started out pretty rough with over 10mph wind from the south. We fished in 4-5 ft of water and caught a nice limit of trout by 1200 with a 22 and 21 inch trout and a bonus flounder. We couldn't find a redfish but did find 1 knucklehead that de...

Re: St. Marks 5-17

She has already said that I need to get a new combo so she can have that one for good. I won't turn down that offer haha. Sounds like you had a good day on some reds!

St. Marks 5-17

Me and my wonderful, recently turned pro fisher wife, launched Saturday morning from Shell island around 0800. We made a long run east through really choppy conditions to the aucilla area. My wife was not thrilled at all with the ride over but she refuses to stand up while riding so IMHO she cant co...

Nice looking ham! Gotta love the green egg. I will never own another grill again. Oh yea and I think I have found out that yellow flies are attracted to the thermocell. They don't keep away horse flies or gnats either.

Re: St. Marks 5-06

These were probably around 6 lbs I guess. I know they catch huge ones up north but I have never seen any that big here. I have eaten them before but they are just too bloody and not worth it for me. But fun to catch.

St. Marks 5-06

First time posting here after doing some stalking for quite some time. We put in at the Fort at about 8am. Started out foggy but cleared up pretty quick. Started out in 3-4 ft very dark water. First cast landed a 16" trout. We didn't have another decent fish in the boat until about 1130. We spo...
