Pretend everywhere has lots of rocks, take your time the first few times and get the lay of the bottom, and exploring on your own and learning to read the water is far more rewarding than fast food fishing. We could tell you fifty places that work for us, but that does not mean it will work for you...

Trout are members of the drum family and male trout, like black drum, make a croaking sound in order to call females to spawn. 12-12, After Work

Met a buddy after work, in spite of the forecast winds, post front, and big moon. Kayaks aren’t too bad with winds if they’re set up right. You can certainly fish bad weather in a kayak that you wouldn’t in a boat. The trout were finicky but we managed 10-12, with about half of those over 20 inches....

Got home and took some Alleve. Lots of fish. A few decent Redfish and trout trout trout.
Biggest trout went 24". No shorts. I caught my biggest trout ever on the fly (23") and adding a 12"
Flounder and a 18" Red I actually caught a fly-slam. :-D
