I don't trout fish much in Feb. anyway, so I would be OK with it being closed then. It sounds like most guys that do fish then might not get to keep much if they change the size limit down to 19''. Lots of big sows over 20'' out there then.

We had a bonnethead about that size come up and check out our boat last Thursday. And a big sheepshead. Fish must be curious about the long thing floating in their ocean.

Good to have some reports, thanks. The fish are biting!! We found trout in small schools Thursday also, never a steady bite for long.

It was stained at Aucilla today and lots of floating grass. Still caught a few nice fish. Wind was bad early in the day.

That sounds like one of my trips! I don't like fishing an east wind, I heard it is associated with fronts coming through

I wonder if anybody is catching anything in the surf at SGI State Park? That place is good sometimes, and you could spread the boys out on the beach so they might have some luck. The bridge might be another good spot to take them, big sailcats and sharks would keep them busy!

No carrying in their stores, hmmmm. I can see a Wal-Mart employee telling the man coming in with an ar-15,"excuse me, sir, you can't bring that gun in here". I want somebody inside carrying so they can stop him.

Thanks for posting, sounds like the fish didn't bite very good yesterday. I fished freshwater and only caught 2 catfish and 2 small bream.
