Re: St. George Island Late December
I'd try all of the places you mentioned. As warm as it's been the inshore fishing should still be good then. Good luck.

Re: Dickerson Bayou/St. Mark's Tips
I caught a lot of fish off the pier in Wooley Park(Dickerson's Bay) before the last hurricane took it out. The water is deeper in the center of the bay, used to be good fishing.

Re: Drought, Oysters, and Rickey Banks
Interesting read. It's sad that things have gotten the way they are now with the reduced rainfall and all. If we can become better stewards of the water use, maybe the oysters will come back.

Very nice! I got a report from just north of the rock garden last Friday that was outstanding also.

Looks good. I bet that guy was mad that lost that. I found a Zebco rod and reel fishing a lake a while back, it cleaned up good.

Nice, thanks for sharing. If we could get some colder weather, they should be up the river with it.

Re: Reports
Thanks for the reports, guys. I fished the Keaton pier this morning and other than seeing a lot of mullet and crabs in the water, nothing was happening. Went to Yates Creek and fished around the boat landing, caught a few pinfish. Low tide in the middle of the day, not much water to fish in.

Good call! It was pretty miserable at the park today trying to work in all the wind, and it drizzled some after lunch. Cold!!

Very nice! Creeks can be great this time of year, esp. deeper ones. Glad you had a good day with the wife.

Re: Yates Creek Nov. 7th
You da man! Billy, have either of you fished from the pier lately? My wife and I fished there a couple weeks ago and could only catch junk fish. I just wondered if it's any good this time of year.

Re: Put Fishbites and Gulp back in package?
You can put them back, no problem. Just don't let them dry out. I keep some gulp re-charge to add when needed.
