Re: Apalach Bay
Great looking fish!
Chasing TT is a lot of running and gunning for sure. Thanks for the write up.
We need to get together for a beer, I'm 30 minutes (22 miles) west of Carrabelle.

Re: Scalloping................................................
Have been scouting once outta St Marks and saw a few about 3 weeks ago. Thinking of trying Steinhatchee this year at least once. I've been out of St Marks and also out of Horseshoe, Bayport, Homosassa and Crystal River. I'm assuming that the ramp in Steinhatchee gets crazy during scallop season ...

Re: St. George Island Fishing
We are headed to St. George Island Saturday for a week of sun n fun, grouper sandwiches at Blue Parrot, and steamed shrimp at the Indian Pass. When not feeding my face or enjoying a cold one or two plan on doing some fishing probably most in the bay behind the state park and maybe try to run some ...

Re: Triple Tail in the Bay
AZ2FL , I live on Timber Island in Carrabelle, but I’ll meet you most anywhere for beer.
Yea I'd like to meet up for a beer sometime. I live on the island about 18 miles SW of you. We moved up here 18 months ago.
For 14 years I fished out of Horseshoe, Shired Island, Suwannee, Cedar Key and ...

Are you staying on the island? If so maybe, I'll run into you at Paddy's or ...

Re: Horseshoe trip
Relicshunter,
You were searching the correct areas.
I launched last Saturday(8/24) at 6:30 AM and ran half way to Pepperfish, trolled and drifted in 1-4 foot of water in search of Reds. No reds on topwater, but did boat two 18" trout on topwater. Tide was super high by 8:30am, so I ran south for TT ...

Re: Horseshoe trip
Relichunter,
I fish HSB about three to five times a month and launch on main street. Did you fish north or south of HSB last Saturday?
