Re: Terrier
Glad to see. Parks open Monday, so SGI, should be good to go. I slip over there time to time and fish the east end. Usually hit Dog Island at same time, usually during the week. Can't do it now because Carabelle ramp is closed to non residents. Hope you get out soon.

Re: Ideal fishing conditions for Apalachee Bay
As a fly guy, breeze under 10 and I'm happy. Oh, and some water movement is nice. And some wildlife to watch. Hate when there's no birds flying, dolphins swimming, mullet jumping, turtles coming up for air.

Friday
Went out of Shell Point yesterday not expecting a great day due to low tidal coefficient. Proved right. Greeted by 2-3 footers, but slicked off in the afternoon. Managed a few small trout, Ladyfish, and a blue fish. Turned out a beautiful day that made up for the lite bite.

Social distanced yesterday behind Dog Is. and SGI (east end). Slowwww. Only managed a dink trout, a 21" trout (released), and a 25" red. Had a presumed Spanish bite off. Lovely day though. Not even a lady fish, highly unusual for me for that area, usually get a fair number. Anyway, blessed...

Wed.
Made it out yesterday from Shell Point. Managed only one throwback trout and a few long line releases. Lovely day after fog cleared. Never seem to do well on the low tide coefficient days. Water barely moved. Didn't see much other wildlife either.

Re: 2020 Fishing Goals
1. Some shots at a tarpon 2. Catch a B. Drum . I've noticed the slow down too and it gets worse on weekends and full moons. :-D I'd just like to catch ANYTHING in saltwater on my fly rod! I'll settle for a snot cat. I've been taking it with me lately but haven't been able to put the spinner down lon...
