Seaark with gator tail vs jet drive

I like this idea. Fiberglass air boat hull with jet ski motor. Pretty cool. Image

Re: VHF radio repairs

I just called standard Horizon about my ram external command mic that was no longer working. They said for $60 they would fix it even though it was 16 years old. So you might want to call the manufacturer of the units. FWIW I went ahead and bought a new system so if anyone is looking for a vhf I hav...

Sunk boat

Did anyone happen to see the sunk boat at the dock of a house on 98 between Eastpoint and Carrabelle? I was otw home from SGI and saw the SeaTow boat and then noticed what looked like a fairly new center console that sunk. I know a bad storm came through there Sunday evening. I’m sure that was the c...

Re: ANYBODY Scalloped Out of Econfina This Summer?

No info on ecky but with all the rain I would expect them to be DEEP if you can see them at all. They have been deep in Keaton even before the rains. I now have an ear infection from my last trip so I’m done with them.

Re: New Decking

Do you mind pm’ing the cost? It just got quotes from a SeaDek and Aqua Traction installer and they both were the same price but pricey! I installed SeaDek in my previous Pathfinder myself but just on the top decks. I’m wanting to do the entire boat this time like yours.

Re: Cast net repair

I have patched a few holes on mine. They were relatively small and definitely not a professional job but they have held up. I think I watched a video on it. I’ll see if I can dig it up.

SGI is St. George Island. The area from Apalachicola to Alligator Point is St. George Sound.

Re: SGI inshore

does anyone have any success north of the bridge between Eastpoint and Apalach? Just looking out over all the grass and backwater, looks like it would hold a lot of fish, especially in cooler months? That area holds a lot of fish but can be very hard to navigate. It’s very shallow but there are way...

Thanks SK! Very interesting. I’ll pass on the info. I do know they are not sentimental, he found them in a house clean out.
