Re: Super Harvest Moon
I wish we could see it better here... All the wildfire smoke has us choked down in North GA and SE Tennessee. Praying for rain.

Re: RV Campground advice...???
Thanks for all the replies! Ill probably do some riding and looking next time I'm down. This for sure gives me a good place to start. If anyone ever needs any fishing/hunting/camping/rafting info on the Ocoee, Hiwassee, or Tennessee River areas in SE TN give me a shout. Thanks again.

Re: RV Campground advice...???
IT says Ho-hum is not kid friendly. That'll be a deal breaker there I guess. Anyone ever been to Sunset Isle Campground in Carrabelle? I found their website and it looks to come with a boat slip, but I can't find their rates.Harmsway wrote:There's Ho-hum in Lanark.
Thanks for all the replies. . .

Re: RV Campground advice...???
Also, the only water I'm somewhat familiar with is from Panacea to St. Marks... I was wanting to try SGI next time I'm down. Indian Pass may be a little West of where I was leaning toward. It looks like a nice place on their website though. I just read mixed reviews of some other campgrounds and I t...

Re: RV Campground advice...???
I have freinds at INDIAN PASS CAMP GROUND little bit south than you said. They speak well of it. On your way down stop by 2 cobia street bald point and bring that BEER you talking about. I've heard that if you get in my boat and bring us some numbers, there may be  located somewhere on board....

RV Campground advice...???
I just bought a fifth wheel camper, and am planning to store it at a friend's house in Wakulla County, and continue towing my boat back and forth when I get a weekend off work. Any advice on a decent RV campground between Panacea and Apalach where I won't have to worry about rude camp hosts, excessi...

Fishing Report Shell Point Area 6/2-6-15-16
Was able to come down to Shell Point 6-2 to 6-15 on vacation with my family. Despite being interrupted by Tropical Storm Colin, we caught a good many short trout, and lots of keepers also. Trout mostly in 2 to 4 feet of water on grass flats around Goose Creek and the stake line on white Gulp shrimp ...

Re: Shark ID Help
Thanks! ... And I'm glad I released it alive in that case! I don't have too much trouble identifying normal game fish, but sharks are definitely my weak area. (We don't see many in Chattanooga.)
Re: St. Marks
FINALLY! Got to fish Saturday. Wind was pretty strong at times. Was a chilly ride out. Fishing was pretty good. Lots of short reds and trout. The keeper trout we caught were good ones. Hope to fish again Saturday. Glad to hear it! I'll be down for 2 weeks at the beginning of June. Wife is picking a...

Shark ID Help
I caught this shark off the dock of the house I rent in Shell Point last year. Being from Tennessee, my shark identification skills are lacking. Through our infinite hillbilly knowledge, and with some liquid courage, we decided it was a bull shark??? I honestly have no idea, but we cut the leader as...

Re: Shell Point Boat Launches
I appreciate the replies, I'm in Chattanooga, TN and normally have to use the Spring Creek ramp. (I spent about every summer in Shell Point as a kid and I've started bringing the family back for a week or two for the past few years.)
