Well I wonder how the fwc will be now that the boater freedom act is in effect and need probable cause to do a stop now. Great pictures and report as usual.

Quite the fish pile, I was at Apalachicola Friday myself and didn't put the kayaks in until late because I figured the weather was going to be like Thursday

Jigs will get you for sure, funny how it's always a red grouper gaggle that doubles up on the jig. Makes me wish I had went on the trip I was invited on the 24th but having to put in a new drain field and a new driveway probably would have been a bit much when I'm going in a week :-D

I went for the day on the 19th and sounds like I should have waited, I ran to pepper fish and the grass was horrible and I couldn't fish top water past rocky creek.

I'm hoping to make it back out myself soon, I figured out I wasted $400 on a fuel pump andy boat is ready to go now


So basically all is going normal to start a fishing season if you’re anything like me.

Glad y'all had a decent trip, we went out on the 19th but inshore and nothing particular to post about other than a cobia hookup and a tarpon hookup that both happened to be on the lightest rods in the boat. My understanding is yes, until they get around the big bend of Florida they have to be 9 miles off to stay out of the seagrass preserve and outside of that they can be closer in.
