Re: Scallops at St. Marks?

Almost nothing at St. Marks. A buddy went and found 3. I hear St. Joe Bay is weak as well. There are scallops there, but they're small and you have to work hard for them.

Re: Goodbye St. Joe Bay

I feel your pain, BG. And I like to take the kids scalloping. It's mainly that I loath the congestion at the ramps and on the water.

Re: NFGFC July 11 tournament ROLL CALL

I see this as a great opportunity for someone with a bay/offshore boat to make an easy $200. There won't be many/any weighed in, so it won't even take a very big one to secure the cash. Although, I think its kinda dumb to make an offshore species the mystery fish in an inshore tourney. Why not Tuna,...

Re: Good place to beach the boat?

Just remember that everything inside of the high water mark is privately owned or owned by the Nature Conservancy as a shorebird sanctuary. But you shouldn't have any problems along the beaches.

Most people anchor up off the west end. Watch the tides, I've seen many a boat stuck high and dry.
