Regulations say no shooting ducks from a boat moving under motor or sail; motor has to be up.
What about poling or paddling? Does this mean I can bring the Judge and take ducks off my kayak?

Can say that again. Isn't that the point of this thread?2Salty wrote:I said NOTHING regarding keeping, raising or reducing the daily bag limits in Florida of flounder, sheepshead and tripletail.
And kayaks don't count.

I put in at Spring Creek and fished south to Oyster Bay and that cove on Friday the 27th. It was windy, current was ripping, and I didn't manage to land anything. Few thumps on my jig though. Hope you have better luck than I did.

Re: Where's FWC?
Last FWC officer I saw was Wednesday at Tucker Lake, chilling at the 2nd roundabout. I was the only one in there and didn't get stopped or anything. He seemed pretty busy there...

I'm 27 and I feel the "bulletproof" feeling leaving me every time I go out; I'm less and less inclined to do crazier things. This story is a solid reminder to keep safety number 1, 2, 3, and 4, on any list. It really was the Lord's will that you found those kids, I'm sure He has greater pl...

Re: Heritage Kayak
I have a Redfish 12. It could better. The seat isn't as comfortable as the newer models with elevated seats. The front hatch isn't as functional with the smaller round cover. The rear hold is pretty wet, as is the ride. The boat weathercocks pretty poorly.Tracking is okay, but not great. Manuverable...

I generally find that a 5 star review is often cursory, pithy, and insincere. I don't often pay attention to 5 star reviews on Ebay, Amazon, Google, ect. A single 1 or 2 star review usually holds more truth and value to me than the whole horde of raving reviews. There are so many relatable examples ...

I'm usually throwing 3 inch spooks, jerkbaits, grubs, most of them smaller baits. It looks like I should be throwing bigger lures!

Re: Crabbing
Last time out of Weeki Wachee I came across several big ones that I could've just netted with my rubber landing net. I usually don't fish in waters deep enough that I can't just net one if I want him.
