Re: Catching Red Grouper Again on March 22, 2025--Carrabelle
Great report and nice catch! Hope to get out there to hunt some new numbers in preparation for RS season once the wind lays down.

Re: Carrabelle 6/29/24
Yeah I’m not sure what the deal was. We definitely weren’t fishing right on the bottom other than when trying to boat a red grouper. Otherwise we were at minimum 15-20 ft off the bottom. Never really saw a ton of fish way up in the water column on the sonar. When we did, they were presumably ...

Carrabelle 6/29/24
Lack of reports lately so figured I’d share one. Left out of Carrabelle bright and early Saturday morning. Started around S tower in 100ft with little luck. Picked up some lanes and fire trucks. Moved south to around 115ft and still couldn’t find the red snapper. Numbers that I caught them on last ...

Re: Bonus fish trip saturday
As others have said, huge on my bucket list!! Have obviously seen them, but never got one to bite and I'm definitely no tarpon whisperer as others in this area are. Congrats and thanks for the report/post.

Re: King Mackerel out of Lanark/Dog Island, Need Advice Plea
Thanks for the input! Funny you say that. I have been looking into the public reef numbers within range and saw several in the area. I'm going to go try them next week!

King Mackerel out of Lanark/Dog Island, Need Advice Please
I am relatively new to fishing "offshore" in this area as most of my offshore fishing has taken place in the Pensacola area. I have heard people speak of fishing for king mackerel off of Dog Island, but have never done it in this area. I know how to fish/troll for them, but don't know exactly where ...
