The rock garden was 72 degrees and on fire between 12:30 and 3:00. I landed several large trout in the 18 to 20 inch range. I released the big sows and kept the smaller for dinner. Homasassa

Hey, heading over to Homasassa the week before Labor Day. Anyone familiar with fishing that area or have any good reports? I have heard scalloping is really good, but I have scalloped out this year and would rather catch some reds and trout. Thanks for any info :D

Wow, I feel lucky. :o I did venture out of the lower Aucillia river landing on Memorial weekend. I proceeded at idle speed and carefully watched depth finder. Aucilla River

I would like to start fishing the flats around Aucilla River. I have heard it is tough to navigate the river entrance. Does anyone have any tips? I do have small boat 17 ft boat with trolling motor. I am just worried about rocks and oyster bars. Thanks
