Re: Any Scallop Reports?

Also wondering if they are still thick around the rock garden east of the lighthouse, they were before the storm but I'm not sure how that affected them. I want to get one more trip in

st marks scallops after the storm

I'm wondering if the scallops are still around in st marks after the storm blew through, not sure if the may have been dislodged or the killed because of the decrease in salinity. If anyone gets out there let me know how they did. I want to get one more trip in before the season closes.

St. Marks area what's biting?

I've been out of st. Marks 3 times this month fishing in the morning and scalloping in the afternoon. I have only caught 2 undersized trout in 4-6 feet of water. Has anyone had any luck inshore? What's biting right now?

Re: Official Scallop report thread!

I went to st marks last weekend again and did a little better. There are scallops but you'll spend a full day getting a limit I'm going to go the extra 30 min to Keaton

Re: Official Scallop report thread!

I am new to this forum but i went out of st. marks (just SW of rock garden) last Thursday 7/2/15 and it appears that the FWC .1 scallops per square meter was pretty accurate. I would search an area of about 10 square meters and find one scallop. We ended up with about 1/2 a persons limit between me ...
