It is an absolute shame that those in charge would consider any regulation restricting the every day fishermen without some cutbacks on the commercial side if the fishery is in that much trouble then cut back on all....but remember these are the same folks that are in charge of counting the BEAR pop...

As usual the the commercial side wont be bothered just the poor ole guy that wants to spend the day on the water and take a couple home to eat will be the one that suffers.

i feel we are regulated and limited to death any further limits should be put on commercial side heck you bout need a Philadelphia lawyer to consult before a fishing trip to see if you are legal ...imo

I have 3 boats and 7 GPS/Bottom machines one being a simrad the other 6 are garmin only reason i have a simrad is it came on my Blue water boat when i got it i am strong on Garmin.

you could always snatch the prop off and check it if the seal is leaking there will be visible signs and dont forget to re-grease the prop shaft with water resistant grease..you are right someone should have come up with a working solution a long time ago.
