Re: St Marks line
Thanks for the info! Not in a kayak though. We fish the flats but also see many boats out past the line of poles and haven't ventured out there yet.

St Marks line
Before I get hammered for asking, I did try a search to no avail. At the lighthouse, the line of poles, what can be caught there and beyond the line?
Re: big eyes
Thanks, weird looking fellows.
big eyes
What are the big eyed white bellied fish on the flats at St marks? About a foot or more long. Caught 3, plus 4 keeper trout (should have been 6
) black fin, and plenty of cats.

Re: Flats reports???
One of the two sharks we caught on Fri on the flats was a nice sized black tip (the other bonnet) Now I discover BT are good eating, can't find info on what to do after in the boat? Bleed, gut? Can someone steer me in the direction?

Re: Flats reports???
Left the fort yest around 10am, made it to the flats. Really windy despite the forecast, lots of boats! Got two fat speckled, lost two at the boat. Lots of smalls, a couple of sharks and the dreaded cat's. All in all, perfect, trout dinner and getting out of the house! Brand new G3 before the virus ...
