Re: STAR Tournament Update
You guys keep saying DQ what do you mean, why was the first registered catch disqualified?
On my app it shows this as the first STAR tagged Redfish caught and that the GMC truck was awarded.

Re: STAR Tournament Update
If I am reading it correctly, the truck was the first prize and has already been awarded, so the next prize is the Contender.

Re: STAR Tournament Update
Well you sold me, I registered! I am only fishing for Redfish, so that Im clear, it has to be a tagged Redfish that is within the STATE regulation size and I have to have the official ruler and just take a photo of him against the ruler, and then call the Tournament director?

Scalloping Question
Scalloping Question,
I have scalloped past Grey Mare Rock, but has anyone ever tried to the scallop to the right side of the mouth of the St Marks River towards Pine Oak Island?

Re: This question ought to get some posts. Help me move!
sounds like based on what you are looking for something in an area like Keaton Beach would be more up your alley. I checked realtor.com and only see one home for sale there and its 123k and needs some work. But that is an area unlike St. Marks and Steinhatchee that is right on the water but not busy...

Re: Keaton Marina
I just looked at it on the map, I have never been there, but considering how far it is from civilization, probably explains why it hasnt performed well. I like my out of the way places too, but unfortunately to make a profit and stay afloat you got to have traffic.

Re: Warm water
I have noticed that the oyster beds that I was catching redfish at a month ago are now not full of redfish, spent 6 hours fishing and only caught two.

Re: Scalloping boat driving etiquette rant!!!
I intentionally stayed between Gray Mare Rock and the lighthouse, the side that has less scallops and thought well we are over here we should be safe. Nope, when those jokers finished scalloping instead of heading back the normal way they decided to go full throttle in 4 ft of water all the way back...

People usually start scalloping around grey mare rock continuing south from there.
