yeah I would say thats a great day fishing, I have been fishing around Saint Marks the last couple weekends and havent caught any Redfish, but have been catching trout at least.

Wasn't bad in ...

I took my boat and put in at Shields Marina at 1045 am, and only one other truck/trailer was there, this should have been a sign for me.

I passed the fort boat ramp and maybe 3 or 4 truck/trailers.

Once I passed the lighthouse it was windy and choppy. Caught some trout close to Gray Mare rock ...

Rock the Dock Fishing Tournament is the end of April, who is planning on fishing this?

According to the specs on their website the boat weighs 1500 lbs. They also have a photo showing the boat polling the flats. Obviously you want to hear from an owner of one, but just 2 cents from the peanut gallery Id day you can = )

Didnt catch anything on Saturday, on my way back in via the St Marks river, I thought I saw Rocky in his new Pathfinder pass me.

I have several of the Rapala lures you recommended, the key is getting on the fish, I know the lures work.

I saw on here several people have had good luck close to Stony Bayou, so I will try that area next.

I am sorry for your loss, but what a memory you and that boat have now together and I am sure one day (long from now) the boat will get passed down to your son.

If you fish the flats and have more than 2 people in your family the Pathfinder is the best choice imo as well. I was so happy for you ...

If I remember correctly you won the Pathfinder last year.

Well to be honest the hewes is not a family friendly boat like the Pathfinder, but a new Redfish fishing machine like the Hewes would be a cool boat to have!

You are probably right though, I would probably sell the prize and use the cash ...

And with the latest catch the Pathfinder is gone. Alexander claimed it officially.

If I catch a tagged redfish now I am going for the Hewes!
