St marks 4/29

Put in at the fort around 730. Ran out to the east flats. Seriously stiff SE wind! My son caught a blue first cast! Then we waded through some short trout with the occasional keeper. Pretty steady bite all the way down the tide and even through the high low. Ended up with 4 keeper trout, two mackere...

Re: Indian pass campground boat ramp

Alright. That's a healthy dose of caution. I guess I better put that trip off a while until I can get some local knowledge. That's one of the things I love about this site. Thanks guys.

Indian pass campground boat ramp

So I'm thinking about exploring around Indian pass this weekend. Looking at the campground boat ramp on google earth. Is there no where to dock the boat to pickup my passengers after they park the car. The ramp looks like it's just got sand on both sides. I see a dock to the north kinda around the c...

Re: Pine tree sap

Awesome guys. It is a fiberglass boat. My bad, that's pertinent info! WD40 seems safe but agree it may be greasy. Is the acetone safe for fiberglass? Where do I find it.

Pine tree sap

So I waited a tad too long to get the tarp on my boat last time out and ended up with a couple nickel sized blobs of pine tree sap on my boat deck. Any trick as how to get it off..well.

Re: St. Joe Bay suggestions

Thanks guys for all your help. We had a great time. Didn't kill the fish but did some good exploring. Caught all our trout behind blacks island around the peak of the high tide. Using root beer and pearl white gulp on jigs and under corks. Tons of shortys and a few keepers mixed in. Once I figured o...

Garmin bluechart g2

So I installed the garmin bluechart g2 this weekend on my echo 73dv and when I was looking at the bluechart it seems as if the depth contours are fixed. For instance I have navionics on my iPhone and as the tide changes the depth contours change on the map. I'm hoping maybe I just havent set somethi...
